WISSOTA Auto Racing and Dart Machinery recently reached an agreement that will make Dart the title sponsor of the WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series beginning in 2008. The new name of the Midwest’s premier WISSOTA Late Model traveling series - now heading into its 10th season - will be the Dart Challenge Series for WISSOTA Late Models.
Headquartered in Troy, MI, Dart Machinery produces a full line of superior engine blocks, cylinder heads, intake manifolds and accessories. Dart blocks, intakes and cylinder heads are legal for use in WISSOTA Late Model and Modified engine packages, and WISSOTA is also testing products from the company for potential application in other divisions. The excitement-filled Dart Challenge Series for WISSOTA Late Models is shaping up to be one of the best set of race dates in the history of the series. A few final scheduling details remain before the final series schedule will be released, but already it’s clear that several new venues will be mixed in with familiar stops for the drivers in 2008.
The Dart Late Model Challenge Series invades the Casino Speedway on Thursday, July 10th.
