On March 15th, the sale of the Casino Speedway from Earl & Sandy Benson to Todd & Kathy Brink was officially completed. The new promoters plan to bring a renewed enthusiasm to the race track, as well as a few new pleasant surprises for drivers and race fans. As they look forward to the new adventure, Todd & Kathy invite everyone out to the track for "Sunday's Need For Speed", the new theme for the racing facility. Casino Speedway will have a new start time for the 2010 racing season. The action will start at 6:00 p.m. every race night, except for the USMTS and DART Late Model Challenge series specials which will start at 7:00 p.m. The owner/promoter may have changed but the great action on the track still remains the same. So come check out the fastest 1/4 mile track in the Northern Plains... the "New" Casino Speedway.
The 2010 Casino Speedway season kicks off with the Annual Car Show on Sunday, April 18th at the Codington County Extension Building. The doors are open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and concessions will be available. The season opener at the track is scheduled for Sunday, May 9th at 6:00 p.m.
