Summer Please Come Soon...
According to KELO-TV, the Watertown area has received 10 inches of the "white" stuff and counting as of 6:00 p.m., so the State of South Dakota has decided to cancel the Summer season for the year of 2008. And judging from the three foot drift in front of my house, the State of South Dakota may be on to something. But then again, I did squash a mosquito in my pickup last Sunday before the Casino Speedway Car Show. So time will tell...
The unsettled weather pattern has begun to cause havoc at area speedways this weekend. The Miller Speedway, Dakota State Fair Speedway and I-90 Speedway races for tonight and tomorrow night (April 25th & 26th) have been cancelled because of the snow storm. Here's hoping the weather clears up soon as opening night at the Casino Speedway is only 9 days away...
