Tony Konold of Clear Lake captured his first ever WISSOTA street stock A-main checkered flag last night at the Casino Speedway. Konold was followed to the finish line by Chad Willmott of White and Watertown's Reed Storley. Current track point leader Wade Tirrel of White finished fourth. Konold, Tirrel and Corey Tammen of Clara City, MN each picked up a heat race win.
Not to be out-done, Kent Arment of Aberdeen extended his modified track points lead with his own clean sweep on the night, finishing ahead of Jay Triplett of Brookings and Todd Stark of Watertown in the feature race. Arment, Triplett and Curt Kranz of Watertown won the modified heat races.
In the casino cruisers division, Jason Grabow of Milbank picked up his third of win of the season. Laurie Ward and Bradey Swenson, both of Watertown, finished second and third respectively. Current season points leader Marcy Rossow of Florence came in fourth. Swenson and Grabow were the heat race winners.
In the last feature of the night, current points leader Scott Ward picked up his third consecutive WISSOTA late model A-main victory, finishing ahead of Aberdeen's Chad Becker and Shawn Malsam. Kent Arment of Aberdeen and Malsam each won heat races.
