The racing action starts at 7 pm. (hot laps at 6:30 pm.), as the United States Modified Touring Series hits the 1/4 mile high banks of the Casino Speedway in a $2000 to win feature race. The USMTS is known as the “World of Outlaws for Modifieds”, featuring the “cream of the crop” from across the nation.

Veteran Nascar driver Kenny "The Hermanator" Wallace is also scheduled to race his JEG's #36 USMTS modified Wednesday evening. An autograph session with Kenny Wallace will be held from 5-6 p.m. near the grandstands. Wallace currently drives the #28 United States Border Patrol Chevrolet in the Nationwide series. Track promoter Earl Benson expects to have up to 35-40 cars or more competing, with USMTS favorites like Kelly Shryock, Jason Krohn, Zack VanderBeek, Al Hejna, and Watertown's own and last year's winner Jon Tesch facing off against the top Modified drivers of the Great Plains, including last year's WISSOTA modified track champion, Scott Ward of Watertown and Ken Arment from Aberdeen.
