Bradley Rossow picks up first feature victory...
Florence's Bradley Rossow picked up his first Casino Cruisers feature win of the year to top the list of accomplishments this week at the Casino Speedway. Rossow crossed the finish line ahead of Alan Thiewes of Kranzburg and last year's point champion, Jeff McGuire of Watertown. Milbank's Jason Grabow, the current points leader, and Marcy Rossow of Florence gained heat race victories.
In the WISSOTA street stocks, Tony Konold of Clear Lake collected his second A-main trophy of the year over Reed Storley of Watertown and White's Wade Tirrel. Jason Marko of Watertown, Josh Tangen of Bruce and Tirrel each won heat races. Tirrel maintains a 14 point lead over Storley in the street stock point standings.
Kent Arment of Aberdeen continued his winning ways by taking the WISSOTA modified checkered flag ahead of Chris Prussman and Jay Triplet, both of Brookings. Arment, Joel Waba of Watertown and Curt Kranz of Watertown took home heat race honors. Arment is the track points leader.
In the last A-main of the evening, WISSOTA Late Model driver Shawn Malsam of Aberdeen snagged his third feature victory of the year crossing the finish line ahead of fellow Aberdeen drivers, Chad Becker and Kent Arment. The heat races were won by Arment and Huron's Dave McDonald. Kent Arment is the new track points leader, overtaking the 2006 points champion, Curt Gelling by two points.
