It's with a heavy heart that the races for Sunday, August 9th are canceled. Track promoter Earl Benson's brother Roger passed away on Wednesday and late Saturday afternoon, former flagman David Doyen passed away unexpectedly at Prairie Lakes Hospital. David's lovely wife heads the concession stand at the track. So out of respect for the Benson and Doyen families and their many friends (many of whom work at the track) the racing for August 9th has been canceled. Racing continues Sunday, August 16th, with the WISSOTA Late Models, WISSOTA Modifieds, WISSOTA Street Stocks and Casino Cruisers in action. The RC Technologies Candy Toss is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. and the green flag drops at 7:00 p.m.
