The rains may have besieged the Casino Speedway, but the rains couldn't prevent Hecla's Mike Stearns from collecting his first-ever Casino Speedway feature win. Watertown's J.R. Ward and Joel Waba finished second and third respectively. Scott Ward of Watertown, Darren Bistodeau of Florence and J.R. Ward were the heat race winners.
Wade Tirrel of White continued his winning ways by earning the WISSOTA street stock feature trophy crossing the finish line ahead of Jason Grabow of Milbank and Josh Tangen of Bruce. Chad Willmott of White and Watertown's Troy Randall were victorious in the street stock heat races.
In the late model feature, 2008 track points leader, Kent Arment of Aberdeen cruised to the A-main win. Aberdeen's Curt Gelling and Chad Becker finished second and third respectively. The late model heat races were won by Becker and Dean Mack of Goodwin.
In the casino cruiser division, Doug Jenner of Watertown picked up the feature win. Bradley Rossow of Florence and Marlin Snell of Milbank rounded out the top three. Rossow and Watertown's Tim Nisich each won their respective casino cruiser heat races.
Racing continues next Sunday evening at 7 p.m.
