On The Brink

Holiday Greetings

Every year right before Thanksgiving, Kathy & I make a mental list of the things we're thankful for concerning Casino Speedway. We are thankful for... the track officials, kitchen staff, ticket staff, the garbage crew, sponsors, drivers, pit crews, racing families, race fans, our announcer, the flagman, EMT's, tow truck operators, & CRP Photography. Also, we need to give Rueben Meyer a big thank you for all that he does for Casino Speedway. We'd also like to give a big shoutout to the Watertown Mall for hosting last year's Car Show and to SpectraMX Web Design for everything they do to promote our track. Basically, thanks to everyone for a successful 2015 Casino Speedway racing season. It takes everyone... working together... to keep racing at Casino Speedway the best in all of Wissotaland.

To sum up the 2015 racing season at Casino Speedway... Mother Nature waved the black flag all season long. It was a constant battle each week dealing with what she had in store for us every Sunday evening. I still think Rod Lenning had something to with it. We had a few bumps along the way in 2015, but we are ripping the rearview mirror off then throwing it in the trunk... and looking forward to brighter days ahead.

As for 2016, we have a few changes in store which will be announced in the near future. We look forward to a nice drier summer and the anticipated continuation of a whole bunch of wild-flying racing action at Casino Speedway.

Anyway, congratulations to all the first time winners this past season and to the new track champions. My biggest goal, when preparing the track each week, is to get new winners each week and to give the guy in the back a chance to win the race.... which happened more than once this past racing season. Kathy & I would like to wish all of you a Happy Holiday Season. We are thankful for each and everyone of you.

Take Care,
Todd & Kathy B.
